Adventure Details:The Dog Days of Summer are over and the fall season is upon us in the 907. What’s the best way to mark the change of seasons?
One word: Dogtoberfest!
Williwaw Social & Midnight Sun Animal Hospital are teaming up to throw an epic dog party in downtown Anchorage featuring hot dogs & brats, beer, dog-centric vendors, burn barrels, DJ sets, dogs on parade, and a canine costume contest with prizes for best large breed, medium breed, small breed dogs, and owner & dog look-a-like.
Dog parade starts at 2:00pm with costume contest immediately after. Silent Auction ends at 3p.
On leash well-behaved dogs and off leash well-behaved minor children are welcome with a parent or legal guardian! Free admission.
This event is a fundraiser for Best Friends Animal Rescue – Alaska and sponsored by Tito’s Vodka for Dog People.
