We have a great line-up of speakers, both local and guests. Sneak peak:
Kyle Van Peursem- “El Nino and the Winter Season Outlook”
Andy Moderow- “Does size matter? Stability Test Craftsmanship”
Anne St. Claire – “How does it work? Looking under the hood of public avalanche safety effectiveness”
More can be found on the speakers, detailed schedule, registration, etc at the SAAW website:
This will be the 11th annual SAAW and like the past workshops, we are looking forward to a great day of learning and fun. SAAW is hosted by the Chugach NF Avalanche Center, Alaska Avalanche School, Hatcher Pass Avalanche Center, and the American Avalanche Association with many others chipping in their time!
