Adventure Details:

A weekend retreat in Homer, Alaska. When we stop and listen to really hear and receive the many gifts of the present moment, we open ourselves to life. Join us for a weekend of mindful breathing, walking in nature, as well as total relaxation, deep listening and sharing from the heart.

Dharma Teachers
Brother Chân Pháp Dung / Dharma Embrace is a senior monastic Dharma Teacher ordained by Thich Nhat Hanh in 2004. He helped to establish Deer Park Monastery, served as abbot for nine years. He has led mindfulness retreats in North and South America, China, Hong Kong, India, Bhutan and Germany. He has a deep passion for restoring our connection with mother earth and is happiest when he is immersed in nature.

Diane Little Eagle is an Alaska Native, Canadian Native, and Austrian. She began studying with Thich Nhat Hanh in the 80’ and was ordained as a dharma teacher in the Plum Village Tradition in 2018. Diane is a traditional singer, Certified Classical homeopath, Herbalist, and Medical Qi Gong teacher in practice for more than 40 years.

These teachers will be joined by Brother Peace and Brother Br. Đức Khiêm from Deer Park Monastery.

Vaccination required w/ verification.

Cost: Includes all meals (vegetarian), lodging & tuition (sliding scale depending on income) – Camping & Commuter: $200- $250 per person. Yurts (2-4 people per yurt – space limited): $250 -$290 per person.
