August in Alaska means there’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy at Alyeska Resort. One of the best ways to get outside and spend time with your family is by picking blueberries, celebrating blueberries and being surrounded by like-minded blueberry enthusiasts in the Chugach Mountains!

August signifies the return of everyone’s favorite Alaskan treat, the blueberry. These delectable little morsels pack a flavorful punch and luckily for us, they grow plentiful on our mountain.

After a two year hiatus, Blueberry Festival is BACK! Stay at Alyeska and take advantage of the annual Blueberry-themed event with vendors, live music, pie eating contests and of course, berry picking!
