Adventure Details:Christ Community Church, Alaska is proud to present a one-night-only FREE TO THE PUBLIC musical celebration of everything Christmas called Hometown Christmas Anchorage, featuring bluegrass sensation Chosen Road. We are also thrilled to announce that there will be a special appearance by TBA Theatre’s Folks Tales+ to open the show!
This will be a wonderful night of great music, laughs, maybe some tears, and a time to reflect on the reason for the Season. Make this an event for the whole family, your church, and anyone who loves Christmas!

Chosen Road has recently been seen in the Billboard Bluegrass Top Ten for THREE DIFFERENT releases and are current contenders for their first Grammy nominations in “Best Roots Gospel Album” and Best Gospel Performance/Song”
Chosen Road is accomplished and their delivery is second to none. Their 2020 recording, Appalachian Worship, reached #4 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums chart, and remained a fixture there for a notable 30 weeks. In addition, the group’s 2021 Appalachian Hymns spent eight weeks in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums chart. Appalachian Christmas, the latest release and first holiday recording, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums chart.
