Adventure Details:Come try out paddling a boat or paddleboard at a FREE, safe, fun event at Goose Lake in Anchorage. Bring your friends and family – no previous paddling experience required. Plus there will be free hot dogs for all (11:00-1:00). There will be canoes, kayaks, packrafts, paddleboards, IK’s there to try out. There will be volunteers to help get you in a boat, fit your life vest, and offer paddling tips. Sponsors are AK Office of Boating Safety, APU, KCK, US Coast Guard Auxiliary, American Canoe Association & REI.
