6 pm – 8 pm – Costume Contest
Want to compete in the big leagues at the largest (
self-proclaimed) pond skim event?! ALL 50 entries are up for grabs. All you have to do is enter Friday’s Costume Contest, dress to impress the judges, show off your dance moves, and you may just find yourself straight-lining into a slushy pond at Saturday’s main event. Costumes must be PG-13. Contestants dressed for this year’s theme will earn brownie points. Judging is based on the most creative costumes and best dance moves! Entry fee is $50. There will be NO costume entries day-of. Must be 16 or older.

Come early and take a stroll through Vendor Village (located in the Christmas lot) for delicious bites from Serrano’s Mexican Grill, Bruceskis Turkish Cuisine and Smokehouse BBQ, Original Gourmet Ice Cream Bars, biodegradable glitter services by Raw Crystal Collective, a photo booth from GCI, and giveaways from Alyeska Nordic Spa.

All registration for Sunday’s events will be on the Sitzmark deck. You will also have the chance to experience FREE dog mushing with Alyeska Tours (home of Ryan Redington, 2023 Iditarod Champion!), enjoy biodegradable glitter services by Raw Crystal Collective, or grab a sweet treat from Original Gourmet Ice Cream Bars!

Homemade Dummy’s go FULL SEND off a jump. Scores are based on dummy creativity, air, and destruction upon crashing. Dummy’s must arrive by 12 pm for upload.

A good ol’ fashioned tug-of-war to pull the opposing team into the pool. This bracket tournament is a test of strength, endurance and strategy. Teams are made up of 5 players.
