Adventure Details:

The Solstice Tree Tour is a celebration of Winter Solstice, festive holiday trees, and healthy outdoor fun for all ages (as well as skiers and non-skiers) and is an Anchorage winter tradition! The Solstice Tree Tour showcases Kincaid’s winter magic while bringing the community together to celebrate and showcase Anchorage’s trails.
Event entry is free and offers a rare opportunity for people to take a winter walk or snowshoe on the ski-only Mize Loop—though skiing is encouraged. Decorated Trees are sponsored by local businesses. Free hot chocolate and traditional s’mores will be served as families and friends travel the 2.5-kilometer Mize Loop. The beer garden is brought to you by Ravens Ring Brewing and will also have live music!
Voting! The loop concludes with a friendly competition among tree sponsors: event attendees vote on the top tree.
Free Shuttles will run from 6420 Kulis Drive (the farthest parking lot on the left) and Kincaid Elementary from 4-8 p.m.
Paid Parking only inside Kincaid Park for $10/ vehicle while spaces are available. Cash only for parking.
Bike Depot will be available for riders to store their wheels in a secure corral while they walk the loop.
Dogs are not allowed at this event.
