Zoo Lights (Nov. 24th – Dec. 24th)

Zoo Lights is the Alaska Zoo’s annual festival of custom light displays which brightens the dark winter nights. We also have opportunities for companies and schools to book Private Night Zoo Lights.

Zoo Lights Schedule:
Zoo Lights tickets purchased now and also during the CyberMonday Sale will be valid for one use each on any of the following open dates (last entry is always 30 minutes before closing time):
November 24th-December 24th, 5-8pm, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays onlyNote: December 3rd is the annual Christmas for the Animals and Artisan’s Bazaar event. Zoo Lights will occur after. Members have free entry to this event and to December 3rd Zoo Lights. Non-members will pay either daytime rates or Zoo Lights rates depending on when they enter.

The zoo is CLOSED on December 25th
December 26th-January 7th, 5-8pm, NIGHTLY
February 14th-February 18th, 5-8pm, NIGHTLY
March 1st-3rd, 6-9pm, NIGHTLY (last weekend of Zoo Lights)

PFD Membership Sale Free Entries: During the October 5-12th PFD membership sale, members who were listed as current in our system at the end of the sale had their name added to a gate list for 2 free Zoo Lights entries. To redeem, go to the gate during an open Zoo Lights time and ask to use your entries. They will be marked as used at the gate and your membership will be verified (must be a current member at time of use).

Supporting Our Mission: Your Zoo Lights ticket purchase supports our nonprofit zoo and mission of wildlife conservation, education, research and community enrichment.

Zoo Lights Rates (daytime admissions sold separately): Zoo Lights tickets are valid for one entry on an open Zoo Lights evening listed above. Tickets are scanned at the gate (print or have barcodes pulled up on your phone). Tickets come as PDF attachments in your confirmation email. Small service fees applied to all online ticket purchases. Tickets are non-refundable and are not applicable to membership purchases.
